The world market for audio and video door phones was worth an estimated $2.3 billion in 2014, an increase of $100 million from 2013, according to IHS.
Aiphone has released the JK Series of hands-free color video intercoms. The intercom stations feature a 170-degree camera, digital pan/tilt/zoom and picture memory. The 170-degree extreme wide-angle camera door stations allow an entire entryway to be seen all at once, while the PTZ features enable end-users to pinpoint a visitor and zoom in for clear identification. The intercoms use only two connection wires for easy installation. The inside monitors feature a thin, low-profile design with a 3.5-inch TFT monitor and a large talk button. The JK monitor digitally processes the door signal to allow for full color in low-light situations and adjust for heavy backlighting.
