Milestone receives $27M investment from Index Ventures

Milestone Systems, a manufacturer of IP video surveillance solutions, announced Thursday that it has been given a $27 million growth stage investment from European venture capital firm Index Ventures.

According to statement released by the company, the funds will be used to develop its “technology platform,” as well as for expansion plans and new business initiatives.

The external investment is the first ever into Milestone in the company’s history.
