Danbury, CT. December 4, 2008, Communication Networks of Danbury, Connecticut, doing business as ComNet, a leading manufacturer of fiber optic transmission and networking equipment, has hired Theodore “Ted†Turczyn to fill a role in managing the company’s strategic partnerships. Ted will be responsible for establishing and managing the company’s relationships with the major distribution and National Account Partners. Making the companies extensive product line available through distribution and National Accounts is a function critical to the success of a new company. Ted will report directly to Steven Carrozzo, the ComNet Vice President of Sales. Ted most recently held position of Director of Distribution Sales at American Fibertek Inc. Ted has over 25 years of experience in the security market and his knowledge of the fiber optic and network communication fields is greatly respected.
In addition to recruiting strategic partners, Turczyn will be responsible for encouraging the recommendation of ComNet products at the local and regional national distribution offices throughout the country. Ted also has a great understanding of fiber optic technology and is a great instructor. He will be tasked with educating ComNet Distributors’ local and regional offices about the use of optical fiber and Ethernet transmission applications.

Ted has been an industry veteran for many years. His was educated in Electronics from his time in the US Air Force and from many years of experience with companies serving the security industry.
