ASIS International receives award for marketing excellence
Alexandria, Va. (May 27, 2014) –ASIS International (ASIS) recently accepted a Hermes Platinum Award from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) in recognition of its integrated marketing campaign for its annual event—the 60th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2014). ASIS was awarded a Hermes Gold Award in 2013.
“This is a tremendous achievement and distinct honor for our organization and our staff,” stated Richard E. Widup, Jr., CPP. “This year we mark the 60th anniversary of our Annual Seminar and Exhibits, which makes this award especially significant and contributes to the overall excitement and anticipation as we make final preparations to welcome 20,000 security professionals to Atlanta this September.”
The show campaign was submitted for consideration by ds&f/Don Schaaf & Friends, the marketing agency that developed the graphics and theme for the Seminar. The agency has worked with ASIS in this capacity for more than 10 years and is a valued part of the ASIS marketing team.
ASIS 2014 will take place Sept. 29-Oct. 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga. More than 200 educational sessions are planned for the conference portion of the event, including expanded IT security offerings in collaboration with (ISC)2. The ASIS exhibit hall will feature more than 200,000 net square feet of the latest security technology and innovations in operational and cyber security, providing a showcase for more than 600 companies demonstrating cutting-edge solutions.
