PIRAMID CONNECT is a volumetric dual technology detector for outdoor applications. It combines a Microwave Doppler with built-in radar function and a Passive infrared sensor.
Building upon the success of the Piramid XL-2 family, the all-new Piramid dual technology sensor features digital doppler pulsed radar with range cut-off and a number of enhanced features including: Advanced Random Moving Object Rejection (to measure length of the detection area, regardless of the sensitivity setting); Superior bird / animal immunity - Ability to set size of target to be detected; Direction Control Discrimination – to set the direction of detection. Intruders can be defined as moving toward or away (or both) from the detector and Target Speed Analysis - Unwanted alarms eliminated based on speed.
