FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Bosch Security Systems, Inc. has introduced the latest additions to its Advantage Line: the Bosch NBC-265-W 720p wireless IP camera and the Bosch NBC-255-W wireless IP camera. Both new cameras provide a ready-to-use, all-in-one network video surveillance system inside a compact enclosure, and come complete with a lens, SD card for on-board storage and free viewing software for up to 16 channels.
These cost-effective cameras are an ideal solution for small offices and retail businesses because they cover a broad range of applications. And with wireless communication the time and cost of installation is reduced since there is no need to run cable for video or data.
The cameras can stream dual H.264 and M-JPEG simultaneously. This compression technology allows the cameras to deliver clear images while reducing bandwidth and storage needs by up to 30 percent. On-board storage supports up to 32 GB SD/SDHC card. The cameras can be set for continuous recording, ring recording, and alarm/events/schedule recording.
The integrated wireless LAN supports IEEE 802.11b/g standards. Both cameras are also easy to connect when necessary, and they can be configured using either a web browser or free PC surveillance software.
The Bosch NBC-265-W 720p wireless IP camera delivers high-definition 720p for sharp, crisp images. The NBC-255-W offers standard VGA video resolution. Both cameras operate at a maximum frame rate of 30 fps.
Both wireless IP cameras conform to the ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) specifications, which guarantees interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer.
