September 24, 2013 – CHICAGO, IL — Securitron, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, is announcing a variety of new power products this year at ASIS, ranging from the AQD6 Series of 6 Amp Switching Power Supplies to the AQE Series PoE with Extractors, Injectors and Rack-Mounted solutions. Securitron will also be previewing the PowerSTAT Module, a monitoring and reporting system for power supplies over the internet.

AQD6 Series
The AQD6 Series of 6 Amp Switching Power Supplies are 12 or 24VDC field selectable units designed to power magnetic locks, electric strikes, card readers, sensors, cameras, DC locking equipment, access control boards and other access control devices. These units are expandable up to 16 independently controlled outputs, with class 2 power limited outputs available. The AQD6 Series is Securitron’s first line of power supplies that meet UL 294 (6th edition), that takes effect in 2015.
AQE Series
The new AQE Series features Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injectors, Extractors and Rack Mount Injectors. This series provides power and data to PoE and non-PoE devices from PoE and non-PoE sources.
The AQE15 and AQE30 are single port MidSpan PoE Injectors designed to power PoE devices from a non-PoE source. These injectors operate from 24 VAC/DC input power and provide 15W (IEEE 802.3af) or 30W (802.3at) output power. The AQE Series Injectors power DC IP cameras, access control door controllers and other PoE equipment.
The AQE30E is a single port PoE MidSpan Extractor that provides up to 25W of 12VDC output power and a data connection to a non-PoE device. This midspan extractor is used to power DC IP and PTZ cameras, door controllers and access control devices.
The AQE250R and AQE500R are 16 port, PoE Rack Mounted Injectors that provide power and data to PTZ cameras, video, access control, door locks and other PoE devices. They offer 250 or 500 Watts of power, as well as remote power monitoring and online management capability; providing the ability to remotely shut down individual ports or all ports simultaneously without the need to be onsite. The AQE250R and AQE500R also include a 48V battery charger for cost effective back-up power.
Securitron PowerSTAT
PowerSTAT is a monitoring and reporting system network module that communicates and controls power status over a local or wide area network. The PowerSTAT gathers and reports information related to external temperature fluctuations, internal cabinet temperature, operation fault status, power supply output voltage and fire alarm input status. It can also generate automated email reports on any detected fault condition, fire alarm interface activation, or on a time basis for scheduled confirmation of proper operation.
