Web-based system simplifies installation, operations and maintenance for smaller sites

Small- to-medium-sized businesses need effective access control just as much as larger enterprises. Honeywell’s new NetAXS-123 is a standalone, Web-based access control system designed especially for businesses that need a simple and affordable way to secure a limited number (one, two or three) of doors. Its superior scalability means companies can now obtain the right amount of access control they need, and easily expand the system as needs change. It also helps companies save time and money by reducing or eliminating costs associated with PC-based systems such as servers and software licenses.
A small enclosure enables installation right on a door, with no external PC server needed. NetAXS-123 allows users to manage their systems anywhere there’s an Internet connection, with no dedicated PC costs — and the user-friendly design makes it simple to install and easy to operate and maintain:
• A web browser allows multiple users to manage the system from any location and avoid potential hardware issues.
• Users can monitor and view live events while manually controlling doors and card readers.
• The system offers enclosures and add-on boards for up to four doors, and many features are designed to provide quick and easy installation.
• The control panel includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) and 12 VDC powering capabilities, and a built-in tamper switch.
