Security Partners launches cloud video service: Security Partners is now offering the Security Partners Video Cloud Streamer (SPVCS) as an exclusive product to its dealers nationwide. The cloud streamer provides dealers and their customers with easy access to continuously recorded video stored in a cloud. Dealers receive recurring monthly revenue for every one of their customers who uses the cloud streamer.
Alarm.com settles lawsuit with iControl: Alarm.com and iControl have settled and dismissed all patent infringement lawsuits, which included litigation involving Telular Corp. and FrontPoint Security. The settlement includes iControl technology subscribers, like Telular, and allows them access to patents covered under the cross-licensing agreement where they license either iControl or Alarm.com technology. ACA lands Hawk Security: Alarm Capital Alliance (ACA) has acquired Hawk Security Services Residential Division from Interface Security Systems LLC. Hawk Security has been serving customers in the Texas market since the mid-1980s. As part of the acquisition, ACA will assume more than 27,000 residential customers.
