Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies' new line of Schlage contactless smart credentials leverage MIFARE EV1 technology, are encrypted with AES 128-bit diversified keys and include mutual authentication and a message authentication code (MAC) to ensure that data is safe. Designed on an open architecture platform, the credentials are built to comply with ISO 14443 standards, the international standard for contactless smart cards. The credentials provide an extremely rapid up to 848 kbps baud rate data transfer between the credential and reader, and include memory options of 2K, 4K and 8K bytes.
