Engineered to meet the evolving demands of modern business operations, the x240 Series offers flexibility, performance, and power delivery in a compact design. These advanced Layer 3 multi-Gigabit switches are equipped with 10 Gigabit uplinks, making them an ideal solution for high-performing network access.
Offering up to 90 watts of power (PoE++) on each port makes it a strong solution for connecting power-hungry devices such as outdoor security cameras, access points, and AV devices. The two SFP+ uplinks allow a high-performance data connection to the core of the network where longer distances are required.
Multi-Gigabit ports enable seamless upgrades to Wi-Fi 6/6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points, which require a data link performance exceeding 1 Gbps, without the need to replace existing cabling, as multi-Gigabit technology supports bandwidths of 2.5 Gbps and 5 Gbps on legacy cables.
The x240 Series offers choices for customers looking for flexibility as the switches support enterprise or software-defined networking and Ethernet Protection Switched Ring (EPSR) and standards-based G.8032 ERPS for ring integration.
