4850-PoE and 4850-LCD Electric Strikes

Feb. 16, 2012

Trine introduces the new 4850-PoE and 4850-LCD. The low current draw, no cutting to install, and flexible design combines to make this a versatile option for PoE and access control systems of any type.
Trine Access Technology designed the 4850-PoE and 4850-LCD to work within PoE environments, automatic door installations, or various Access Control Systems (such as Com, card readers/proximity, and keypads). These electric strikes help to eliminate the need for an additional power supply for the strike or to reduce its size for every day installations.
The 4850-PoE requires .260 mA (3.12 Watts) at 12DC, and the 4850-LCD require .135 mA (3.24 Watts) at 24DC, which meets the requirements for .300 mA systems or provides additional flexibility for .500mA and higher systems. The low current draw allows the use of smaller and less expensive power supplies when installing any access control system.
Just like Trine’s standard 4850 electric strike, the 4850-PoE provides four-strike thicknesses (1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4” and 7/8”) by supplying two spacer plates. The patented 6-pin anchoring system provides the highest level of strength and stability for any surface mounted strike — making this the strike for rim panic devices.
Save money on your power supply on every day installations — try a 4850-PoE or 4850-LCD today.
