SARGENT® Profile Series locks with Aperio™ wireless technology allow facilities to expand their access control footprint and enhance overall security by protecting medium-security doors. Aperio utilizes local wireless communication between the lock and a communications hub to connect to an online electronic access control system, significantly reducing the cost and inconvenience of traditional access control. Aperio is a global wireless platform from ASSA ABLOY that allows you to expand your access control footprint — quickly, easily, and affordably — using existing platforms you trust. Available across a range of locking hardware from ASSA ABLOY Group brands, Aperio provides the flexibility to address a variety of applications throughout your facility. The Profile Series combines integrated access control components with ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 hardware and is available in mortise lock, cylindrical lock and exit device configurations. It supports HID® 125 kHz proximity or 13.56 MHz iCLASS® contactless credentials, with full authentication in all formats. The Aperio-enabled lock requires minimal field configuration and ensures quick, easy wireless deployments. Wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) between the lock and Aperio hub uses AES 128 encryption to ensure the highest level of security.
