Ottawa, Can., September 26, 2019 — Feenics Inc., an award-winning provider of the Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) Keep by Feenics™ cloud-hosted platform, brings new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Hanna Farah Ph.D. to its growing team at its Ottawa headquarters.
With a doctorate in Computer and Electrical Engineering and an impressive list of educational and private-sector credentials that include a patented invention and published practical research in data privacy and security, Farah is ready to take Feenics to the next level in technology advancement.
Most recently Farah was a manager at Deloitte where he advised technology companies on incentive programs in research and experimental development and was first introduced to Feenics. Farah also has expertise in the mobile development industry where he contributed to create a unique experience for customers on the Android platform. He was a first place recipient of the University of Ottawa Prizes in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the graduate level. Farah’s doctorate research in privacy and identity protection in the healthcare sector was applied to meeting clinical trial acceptance criteria while protecting the identities of participants. His master’s work conducted in partnership with IBM and other stakeholders focused on building software based on cognitive patterns to improve user experience and led to a patent award.
