The Barix Simple Paging solution was created to transition schools and businesses to digital PA systems while leveraging existing network architectures, keeping costs manageable and offering a simple learning curve that enable system use from day one. ISC West serves as the debut for this solution, which Barix will demonstrate at Booth 31099.
A typical Barix Simple Paging solution will include at least several low-cost Barix Exstreamer decoders and one or more optional master paging stations. The solution can be specified into new constructions and IT networks, or replace legacy solutions without expensive, dedicated wiring runs. Complex IT setup process are eliminated, with the master paging station automatically discovering all Barix devices on the network. Furthermore, the Barix Simple Paging solution unites disparate PA systems scattered across different buildings on a campus. This unification ensures that all sites can receive the same page or message at the same time.
Security personnel can also page from their iPhones and iPads through the associated free Barix Simple Paging App. Like the master paging station, the app also automatically discovers all Barix devices on the network. Additionally, Barix Exstreamers can be assigned into specific groups to enable zoned paging as necessary. This allows a user to page to specific parts of the main facility and/or other buildings on campus to deliver a message.
Barix also delivers noticeable audio quality improvements in comparison to analog systems. Live pages and announcements are streamed reliably, playing out of speakers with punch and clarity. For larger crowds, Barix-driven audio is heard clearly above the background noise to help manage crowds
