Auto-Bolt™ MAX (ABM) series has been upgraded from its original 2017 series, which won a SIA New Product Showcase Award at ISCWEST. ABM instantly deadbolts the door with multiple deadbolts each time it closes, yet meets all life-safety codes for single motion egress.
ABM answers the need for continuously locked doors to protect staff and assets in high-value locations and areas. Stainless steel deadbolts project one inch and the locking bolts securely fasten the door to the frame at up to five locations (three on the lock edge, two on the hinge side). The lower bolt projects horizontally into the frame, not the floor, for maximum forced-entry resistance and durability.
ABM’s patent pending trigger system is no longer located at the lock body area, but is now moved to the top of the door for worry-free operation. ABM has been tested for over 1,000,000 cycles and its easy lever operation makes it suitable for all applications, including high-traffic doors.
Access control release and signaling options include 12 or 24vDc release, fail-secure or fail-safe exterior trim, request-to-exit, bolt position and door position outputs. Securitech’s unique key-usage switch provides a separate and distinct signal upon keyed entry, separate from forced door alerts.
