The Command Access LPM190 series motorized latch retraction mortise lock utilizes a high-quality Grade 1 chassis built on the same footprint as the Schlage L9000 series and uses standard ‘type 86’ door prep. This remarkable modification opens the door to new possibilities on what can be achieved with a mortise lock, previously only possible with exit devices. It uses a CAT-designed custom motor assembly to maximize the pulling force and low surge, allowing long wire runs and a centralized power supply.
