Codelocks announced the release of its new CL500KEY Mechanical Lock. The new addition to the CL500 Mechanical Lock Range incorporates a tougher and ergonomically superior handle assembly, featuring greater durability for heavy-duty use in high-traffic areas, as well as a practical Key Override for greater management versatility.

Available in a range of models, including tubular latch and mortise lock models with and without code-free access, the CL500KEY is designed to meet the highest traffic demands. The comprehensive range is suitable for a variety of heavy-duty applications in offices and workplaces, schools and universities, healthcare, warehouses, industrial sites, and transportation and logistics facilities.
The new CL500KEY mechanical locks provide a bridge between the CL500 and the heavier weight CL600. The CL500KEY locks offer the best of both worlds, the everyday dependability of the CL500 and the durability of the CL600 with enhanced entry management and now the addition of a Key Override.
Additional features include Code Free Access, two coded plates for installation on both sides of the door in a Back-to-Back (BB) option, and an Auto Deadbolt as an available option when using in a mortise lock application. The CL500KEY is available with a stainless steel or marine-grade finish and is compatible with the XT2 Weather Cover, making it suitable for a wide range of internal and external access control applications.
