Staff increases lead to identification product retailer's move

Based on years of strong sales in the photo identification and badging industry, ID Wholesaler is on the move. The Chanhassen, Minn., firm recently moved to a new location to accommodate the company's increase in staff, product and services.

According to Chris Penn, the vice president of sales and marketing for ID Wholesaler, the company had made additions to the sales and marketing teams, so the new location was partly chosen to accommodate the staffing growth. The company also is an ecommerce retailer, and the move enabled ID Wholesaler to add an in-house photo studio to handle all of their own product photography for their website.

Additionally, the company added an 800-square-foot training room with the office move, and the move is enabling the company to start shipping directly from its Minnesota facility, which may speed delivery times for some customers.

The company sells its identification wares online at www.idwholesaler.com. Included in its product offerings are ID card printers, ID cameras, lanyards, badge holders, and other identification accessories. Popular brand names represented by the retailer include Evolis, Fargo, Zebra, Magicard, Datacard Group, Team Nisca and Digital Identification Solutions.
