'Secured Facilities' track to be presented at Southern California Facilities/Managing Green Buildings Conference
A "Secured Facilities" seminar track presented by SecurityInfoWatch.com, Security Technology Executive magazine and Security Dealer & Integrator magazine is included in the Southern California Facilities/Managing Green Buildings Conference, which will be held on May 16-17 at the Anaheim Convention Center. This event features an expo and a conference, which are both free to attendees. The audience consists of facilities engineers who work in commercial, industrial, institutional and government facilities in Southern California.

Integrating Security With Building Automation Systems – Phil Atteberry, of Siemens Industry, Inc., will discuss the latest security trends and technologies. Today, more and more facilities are integrating access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems with their building automation systems. Learn how this integration can streamline your operations and lower your operating costs, while improving the safety and security of your facility and people.
Creating a Facilities-Wide Video Surveillance Program - Learn how to develop a surveillance concept of operations plan (CONOPS) that can effectively drive your video surveillance technology requirements in this session, which is also being presented by Bernard. Other topics for this session include: future proofing your video deployment, transitioning from old technology to new, determining video quality requirements for cameras and lighting; high megapixel versus standard definition video cameras.
