The Calgary (Canada) Board of Education, western Canada’s largest school board, has awarded an extensive contract for the installation of a Sielox access control system for seventy-two K-12 buildings in the school district.
Dan Jones, Sales Manager for Sonitrol of Southern Alberta, reports installation of the Pinnacle/Sielox Access Control System began July 2, 2008 and will continue through November 1, 2008. Three, one year, options have been issued to Sonitrol of Southern Alberta to complete the entire school district consisting of over 220 schools and administration buildings.
Karen Evans, President of Sielox, Runnemede, NJ said, “With the installation of the Pinnacle/Sielox Access control System the Calgary Board of Education enhances the safety of its students and faculty with fast and secure registration from initial badging through the entire access control process.
