Output controller increases input and output capacity

Torrance, CA, April 2, 2008 – AMAG Technology’s two Output Controllers for Symmetry M2150 MultiNODEs are available as optional add-ons to the Symmetry M2150 MultiNODE range to provide increased input and output capacity for AMAG’s Symmetry Security Management System.

The Symmetry M2150 Output Controllers are available in two formats; one with four inputs and eight outputs or one with four inputs and 24 outputs to provide flexibility.

Each of the inputs is configurable for two, three, four and six states, providing a high level of supervision for the device being monitored and for the wiring to the device.

“When the Output Controllers are combined with the Symmetry M2150 controller range, they provide cost effective control of a wide range of devices and will be a frequently used component of a totally integrated security solution,” said AMAG Technology, Chief Technology Officer, David Ella.

The Symmetry M2150 8DBC Controller configures up to 16 readers with additional 8DBC door controller and manages 250,000 cardholders. Symmetry SMS users can network up to 32 controllers on a chain to expand the system, and may add additional chains if necessary. Distributed intelligence provides a fast response to access requests, therefore increasing security at each door. The Symmetry multiNODE M2150 8DBC supports connections to a client PC via the Local Area Network, hard-wired communications port or remote dial-up modem.
