EDIsecure® Products First to Be Approved for GSA HSPD-12 FIPS 201

The EDIsecure® XID590i Re-transfer Card Printer and the modular Inline Lamination Unit are posted as a combined product offering in the GSA Approved FIPS 201 Products and Services List as the DIK10215-Combo under the section GSA Card Printer Station.
Options available for the RoHS-compliant DIK10215-Combo include inline reader/encoders such as the GSA FIPS 201 approved MIFARE DESFire reader/encoder from Integrated Engineering, as well as a host of contact and contactless reader/encoders from DigiOn24, Gemalto, HID, LEGIC, OMNIKEY, and RFIdeas. It is possible to have up to three different encoders in the EDIsecure® XID590i printer at the same time for crucial secure credential projects. Additional features of the X ID590i include 24-bit, process quality, over-the-edge printing, the largest selection of printable materials in the industry, a lifetime warranty on the print head, and a 3-year standard warranty on all parts and labor*.
The DIK10215-Combo also includes the field-installable Inline Lamination Unit (ILU) which offers unique features such as fast, portrait mode lamination, up to 1,250 OVDs per roll, and custom or generic contact chip cut-out patch laminates. The ILU attaches easily to the XID590i by use of a metal base plate and a single communication cable. A pass-through feature allows for the printer to send cards through the ILU without laminating on a per card basis if needed. This printer/laminator combination with inline encoding allows you to complete the entire complex card production in a single pass.
