Brick, NJ (August 15, 2012) – The new Valley Forge Casino, which opened on March 31, 2012, has selected North American Video (NAV) to implement their video surveillance and security system. Casino management chose NAV based on their proposal and extensive experience in designing and building network-based systems for casinos. The design/build proposal includes a state-of-the-art Pelco IP-based video surveillance system which features the powerful Endura 2.0 recording structure and a combination of approximately 400 Sarix and Spectra IV IP cameras. The design/build also includes a Software House Access Control system, integrated into the Pelco video surveillance system, to cover the doors and mantraps.
“The system we implemented will provide the owner with the latest technology in IP-based video surveillance. In addition, the network designed at this particular site is extremely sophisticated and robust which in turn will allow them room for future IP growth and expansions,” said Laurie Jackson, Vice President of Gaming Sales, NAV. “And by integrating the access control and video surveillance system together in an easy to manage overall system, casino management has a more complete picture.”
The $132.5 million Valley Forge Casino Resort is located 18 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
