RESTON, Va., Feb. 14, 2013—XTec Incorporated today was awarded a blanket purchase agreement by the General Services Administration for HSPD-12 card issuance support of the Federal Acquisition Service’s Managed Service Office (MSO). The agreement includes Personal Identity Verification cards and personalization services.
“GSA’s MSO delivers PIV cards to more than 90 customer agencies, commissions, and boards throughout the continental United States and overseas,” said Kevin Kozlowski, XTec’s Vice President of Government Initiatives. “Thanks to the breadth of XTec’s experience, we are equipped to offer the flexibility and expertise MSO needs to support that range of customers.”
Under the terms of the BPA, GSA may require technical and professional expertise for its customers as well as cardstock and personalization services. XTec is teamed with Oberthur Technologies, the leading provider of PIV cards to the federal government. The XTec Team will provide its products and services through the MSO’s USAccess program, which supports agencies’ logical and physical access control system implementation strategies.
A certified PIV and PIV-I provider, XTec has provided HSPD-12 and identity management products and services to federal clients for nearly two decades.
