Datawatch Systems elevates Sean Brown to VP, business development
Bethesda, MD – September 4, 2013 – Datawatch Systems, one of the nation’s leading access control and commercial office security providers, today announced the promotion of Sean S. Brown to vice president of business development.
Brown, who serves as General Manager of Datawatch Systems’ Northeast region, is now responsible for the firm’s regional sales and operations in New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. Reporting directly to executive vice president William F. Peel III, Brown will continue to be based in New York City.

Prior to joining Datawatch Systems in 2010, Brown was general manager for a leading national security services vendor in the Northeast where he helped grow a national book of business. Before that, he was the director of strategic accounts with the real estate division of Winstar Communications and vice president and asset manager of New York City-based Schroder Real Estate Associates. He also worked for Grubb & Ellis as District Manager overseeing its New England division.
Brown is a member of the Board of Directors for BOMA Westchester, and a member of the Town of Darien Architectural Review Board. He earned a BS degree from the College of Business Administration Fordham University.
