Steve Gedney, Doug Natal and Ed Hartman join Cross Match Technologies
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – January 6, 2014 Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of biometric identity management solutions, announced that Steve Gedney, Doug Natal and Ed Hartman have joined the Company in key sales leadership roles as part of its sales realignment initiative.
Steve Gedney joins to lead European and APAC sales after a long career in technology sales, sales leadership, and general management. He has lived and held roles across Europe and Australia/New Zealand for organizations such IBM, Borland, and Computer Associates. Steve is based out of London, England.
Doug Natal comes to Cross Match with over 25 years of comprehensive public sector technology experience having served in leadership positions at EMC, StorageTek, Alliance Consulting, EDS, VeriSign and Taleo/Oracle. He has a clear understanding of the Federal customer’s mission needs and will lead the U.S. Federal sales team based in Arlington, Virginia. Doug will also help support growing the Identity as a Service (IDaaS) capability of Cross Match’s Web-based approach for the collection and management of biometric enrollment data (WEBS).
Ed Hartman brings over 20 years of enterprise software sales and sales management experience to lead the Company’s North American law enforcement and commercial market sales team. He has a successful track record of sales leadership and driving results for organizations such as IBM and NICE Systems, and recently retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel.

The Company also announced that Greg McConnell, long time Cross Match international business development and sales executive and former Labcal Technologies partner, has been promoted to the new position of Vice President, Global Alliances. “We remain committed to supporting the success and further development of our global partnerships, and Greg is the obvious choice to lead this effort,” added Vermillion.
