MINNETONKA, Minn.—(March 24, 2014)—Datacard Group today announced it will be exhibiting at the 2014 ISC West on April 2nd – 4th, 2014 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, booth #2083. As the largest physical security show in North America, the ISC West conference will highlight trends and new innovations in the security industry.
Datacard Group will be showcasing its new desktop hardware solutions, the Datacard SD460 card printer with lamination and the CD800 printer with inline lamination, as well as secure supplies and overlays that deliver an optimal mix of affordability, security and durability in government, corporate and school ID card programs.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of the printers’ new patent-pending tactile impression feature that helps make cards more secure by physically impressing a tamper-evident image into the card substrate at the time of personalization. In addition, new serialized laminates and overlays on display will show card issuers the options for edge-to-edge protection that enables greater card security and durability – ultimately deterring against alteration and counterfeiting.
“ISC West is a great venue to demonstrate to organizations the new cutting-edge technology that we offer to the marketplace,” said Connell Smith, vice president of supplies and desktop product marketing for Datacard Group. “We are continuously striving to develop new technologies to help combat evolving security threats—from protecting identities and proprietary information, to ensuring that the card produced is high-quality. We plan on demonstrating these new capabilities at the show.”
