ASSA ABLOY Acquires Pedestal PRO to Enhance Access Control Solutions

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Pedestal PRO, a United States-based manufacturer of access control pedestals, bollards and innovative mounting solutions.

Pedestal PRO offers a wide range of products, including custom-designed pedestal mounts, EV charging stands, blue light housings, custom camera mounts, bollards, cabinets, goosenecks, housings and hoods. The company's portfolio features over 250 ready-to-ship items with unlimited custom revisions, catering to a wide array of security and access control needs.

Pedestal PRO was founded in 2002 and has some 50 employees. The main office and factory are located in Lindon, Utah. Sales for 2024 amounted to about $11 million (approx. MSEK 120) with a good EBIT margin. The acquisition will be accretive to EPS from the start.
