The Medeco T21 is a sophisticated stand-alone key management system that utilizes innovative RFID technology to trace and account for every key or keyset that is individually locked in place.
T21 Key Management System is simple, efficient and cost-effective providing small to medium size businesses the very latest in intelligent key management. The T21 allows businesses to secure keys, authorize users, and monitor key use by controlling and recording when a key is used and by whom. Up to 1,000 users may be added to the system.
The system requires a pin to be entered in order to remove a keyset. Once the PIN number is entered, the key positions will display two colors: green for those keys which the user may access and red for the keys which the user may not.
Audit reports are made available through the cabinet’s display screen or by exporting the reports onto a USB drive. The audit reports show which user had use of what keys and during what times. The system can store up to 250,000 audit events.
The T21 Key Management System has an audible alarm that will activate if someone leaves the door open for longer than 60 seconds, if an impact or shock is detected or if someone tries to break into the system.
The T21 can hold up to 21 keys or key sets locked on to iFobs with security seals. The exterior is a robust extruded aluminum and the interior is molded ABS plastic. The iFobs are also ABS plastic with an embedded RFID chip.
