Software House iStar Ultra Video: The iSTAR Ultra Video is a palm-sized solution that delivers integrated, small-site security scaled for enterprise management and performance. Using C•CURE 9000 Security and Event Management software from Software House or American Dynamics’ victor Unified client, it brings access control and video recording to the edge, allowing users to remotely control up to eight doors and eight IP video cameras using a single appliance, without the need for server software at each site. The cost-effective iSTAR Ultra Video combines access control and video surveillance functionality in a single appliance, reducing installation and infrastructure costs by eliminating the need for separate devices and network connections. With scalability to thousands of sites, it is ideal for enterprise environments with unmanned sites that require a high level of security, such as power sub stations, data centers, server farms, fiber huts and other utility and telecommunication sites. AES 256-bit FIPS 140-2 network encryption with custom key management and DoS protection help avert potential network threats. Up to 500,000 cardholders can be managed in the device’s local memory.
Kantech EntraPass v7.1 with EntraPass Go Pass: The latest version of Kantech's EntraPass Security Software features the EntraPass Go Pass mobile application that allows card holders to use their mobile phones as an access control credential. EntraPass 7.10 software also includes updates to its Microsoft Windows Active Directory integration which now auto-synchronizes users, and extends the EntraPass Go Install app for installers to Android users. Using the EntraPass Go Pass mobile app, cardholders can gain access to doors simply by pressing the appropriate icon of the door in the app, as they approach the door or from anywhere in the world. Using Wi-Fi or cellular connection, the app communicates directly with the access control system’s server, which allows organizations to leverage their existing card reader infrastructure and save on the cost of new card readers required with other mobile credentialing technologies.
exacqVision 8.4: Known for intuitive and powerful video solutions, version 8.4 of exacqVision adds critical cybersecurity features demanded by IT departments. The VMS supports HTTPS to encrypt the communication between supported cameras and the NVR, and users can now easily configure security certificates used by exacqVision Web Services for HTTPS communication. Always focused on enhancing usability, exacqVision 8.4 boasts a low contrast GUI designed to address the direct link between interface ergonomics and operator fatigue. Combined with other features such as H.265 encoding, PTZ support for Suspect Tracking and more, this release raises the bar for system protection, video performance and intuitive user experience.
Illustra Flex 2MP PTZ and Pro 12 MP Fisheye IP cameras: The Illustra Flex 2MP PTZ has 20x optical zoom with continuous auto-focus plus 10X digital zoom, which provides very effective video surveillance over long distances. The cost-effective PTZ includes motion detection and advanced features such as WDR, auto-defog, backlight control and noise reduction. Outdoor models use 60W PoE+ power making the installation of outdoor cameras easier. The new Illustra Pro 12MP Fisheye provides high quality 360° or 180° panoramic video. The camera’s ePTZ movements are ultra smooth, creating even transitions between pan, tilt, and zoom movements, while onboard dewarping technology provides distortion-corrected video streaming. The camera’s integrated IR illuminator provides high-quality video up to 15 meters in even the worst lighting conditions. The Fisheye camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling and uses Power over Ethernet which eliminates the need for cables and reduces installation time and cost.
American Dynamics HD over Analog Solution: Value-based Holis HD Tribrid Video Recorders combine with a new suite of American Dynamics HD cameras to provide an affordable recording solution for any small to medium size business. By supporting 720P and 1080P cameras over coax infrastructure, Holis 4, 8, and 16-channel HD recorders take advantage of existing analog infrastructure to provide cost-effective installations while offering superior video quality never before attained over coax. The new suite of HD cameras – including fixed and varifocal Bullet Cameras and Mini-Domes – offers an excellent alternative to IP cameras and allows users to upgrade their system over time while protecting their CCTV investment.
