    The Encrypted Wireless Credential Reader from Cypress Integration Solutions uses the Security Industry Association's OSDP Secure Channel to safeguard the wireless connection, protect against playback attacks, and prevent leaks of sensitive data. The Encrypted Reader, which is CE-certified, is the latest addition to the Cypress line of Wireless Handheld Readers. The Readers verify credentials by connecting a base unit with the user's live database, and offer handheld control of a select function, such as opening a door or triggering an alarm.
