Fairfield, NJ -- March 28, 2019 -- ZKTeco USA’s OP-400 is a next-generation face recognition reader designed for Lenel OnGuard and Amag Symmetry access control systems. Its unique integration completely eliminates the need for template management software. This makes OP-400 the security industry’s fastest, easiest least expensive way for Lenel & Amag customers to add biometric security to their facility. OP-400 can be configured as either a Primary or Secondary reader. The Primary reader stores and synchronizes newly added face templates with all the Secondary readers. The Primary reader also synchronizes user data it receives from Lenel OnGuard (or Amag Symmetry) access control system with all the Secondary readers.
When users authenticate to an OP400 Secondary reader with their credential (i.e. their face and/or card) at the door, the OP400 Slave reader will query its embedded database for a credential-match. Upon positive match the OP400 Secondary reader will transmit the user ID to the Lenel (or Amag) panel via Wiegand (or OSDP). If the panel determines that the user has appropriate access rights, the Lenel (or Amag) panel will unlock the door, accordingly. Note any subsequent change in users from Onguard (or Symmetry) or face templates (on OP400 Primary) are automatically synchronized with the OP400 Secondary readers on the network.
