HID announces discontinuation of FARGO DTC5500LMX printer configurations

HID will continue to support the printer and its consumables for three years post-EOL, ensuring service until at least March 31, 2028.

HID has announced the discontinuation of its DTC5500LMX card printer. The suggested replacement product for the DTC5500LMX is the HID FARGO DTC4500e.

Timeframe:

Last Time Buy: February 28, 2025
End of Life (EOL): March 31, 2025
End of Service: March 31, 2028

After the EOL date, the DTC5500LMX will no longer be available for purchase. However, HID will continue to support the printer and its consumables for three years post-EOL, ensuring service until at least March 31, 2028.
