Building Intelligence Inc. announced the release of its Kiosk software SV3®Kiosk to be added to its award winning line of security solutions for facility operations. SV3®Kiosk provides a best-in-class solution for visitor self check-in, management of visitor traffic, and enhanced security practice. The SV3® product line supports the security of vehicles, visitors, and vendors. SV3® includes mobile applications and integration to drivers license readers, license plate readers, and weight scales.
With the addition of the SV3® Kiosk software, a touch-based tablet can automate the processing of visitors via bar code, driver license, and/or tenant directory. Functionality includes automated phone calls to support unregistered visitors, badge printing, integration to access control, real time photos, and processing via barcode. Sv3® is a Safety Act Designated technology, and the addition of these services to the core technology serves to extend the capacity and coverage of the security of vehicles, visitors, and vendors.
Jeffrey C. Friedman, CEO of Building Intelligence Inc. stated, “The SV3®Kiosk software furthers our mission to provide improved operations and savings with investments in new physical security technology. As an elegant addition to any lobby, the SV3®Kiosk provides key functions of visitor management and integration into physical access control systems. Much like a pre-check kiosk at an airport, it leads to shorter lines and greater customer satisfaction.“
On display this past April at ISC West in Las Vegas and ASIS in NYC, The SV3 Kiosk connects to the Building Intelligence cloud solution which allows for cross-checking vital visitor information against watch lists and VIP lists. Necessary software updates are automatically adjusted without the need for service calls.
The SV3®Kiosk supports various operational workflows. More typically, the process starts when the host site pre-registers a visitor through the SV3®Visitor web application. Upon arrival, the SV3 Kiosk guides the visitor through a simple check-in process whether they have been emailed and invited with a QR code, or they are registered but have no QR code, or they have not been invited at all.
Each SV3 Kiosk can be configured with different components such as a customized welcome screen and logo, non-disclosure agreements, requests for certifications, notification of personnel or access card issuance. The SV3 Kiosk software integrates with multiple driver’s license scanners and access control systems to facilitate seamless integration with all building security needs.
