Lockly Launches Zeno Series Smart Lock Featuring Facial Recognition and Apple Home Compatibility

Lockly Visage smart lock featuring facial recognition technology for hands-free door unlocking as part of the Zeno Series lineup.
Lockly has introduced its new Zeno Series smart lock lineup featuring facial recognition technology, led by the Lockly Visage, a $350 model that unlocks with a look.
The company describes Visage as its first smart lock with facial recognition, designed to simplify entry by allowing users to unlock their door through biometric verification. “When it comes to simplicity in smart home devices, it doesn't get much easier to unlock your door than simply looking at it,” the description states, highlighting the hands-free experience enabled by facial recognition.
Visage is part of Lockly’s Zeno Series models, which are the first from the company to be Apple Home compatible with Home Key access. The locks also include built-in WiFi, allowing users to connect, control, and monitor the device remotely without requiring an external hub.
Alongside the new facial recognition capability, the Zeno Series retains several familiar security features from previous Lockly products. These include a biometric fingerprint sensor, the PIN Genie rotating digital keypad and programmable auto-locking.
The system also introduces functionality through the Lockly Home app, expanding device control and management options.
Key features of the new system include facial ID recognition with biometric fingerprint scanning and radar detection for faster unlocking, Apple Home certification with Home Key access and Siri support and built-in WiFi that enables remote monitoring, alerts and voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant. The lock also includes programmable auto-locking to ensure doors secure automatically and a patented PIN Genie digital keypad that rotates number positions to prevent code guessing. Additionally, the Air Transfer feature allows user profiles to be moved between Lockly devices with a few clicks.
Lockly’s Zeno Series positions facial recognition as a central access method while combining it with existing biometric and smart home integrations to expand remote and hands-free entry options.
