Supreme Security Systems has merged with CAT Alarm Systems, a family-owned alarm business with its primary customer base in New Jersey. Much of Supreme's business has also been located in New Jersey, and the move, according to Supreme's CEO Robert Bitton was positioned to give Supreme Security a stronger footprint in the state.
"This merger significantly expands our footprint in New Jersey," said Bitton. "Supreme has always concentrated on providing superior service in our local market and we plan to extend that tradition to CAT's former customers."
As part of the merger, CAT Alarm Systems' customers will be serviced by Supreme Security, adding about 1,000 customers to Supreme Security's rolls. CAT Alarm Systems was founded in 1970 by husband and wife team Irwin and Susan Dunsky. Irwin Dunsky will remain with Supreme Security in a sales and customer acquisition position. Bitton added that he was "thrilled" that Irwin would stay with Supreme Security Systems. Both firms have provided electronic security systems and services for both businesses and residences.
