Site to provide information about participating member companies

The Electronic Security Association said this week that it is launching a new website for its SECURE+ initiative. The initiative, which was launched earlier this year at the ESX show in Nashville, is designed to highlight the range of services offered by ESA members beyond just security.

According to a statement, the website, www.SecurePlusweb.org, will showcase ESA member companies that have joined the initiative as well as provide specific information about various products that give homeowners remote control of their security and automation systems.

"Consumers are looking for experienced integrators. The SECURE+ designation identifies qualified ESA member companies that have demonstrated expertise in the installation and operation of systems that include features to enhance control and convenience," said Merlin Guilbeau, ESA executive director and CEO. "Installing a home automation system puts a great amount of trust in the installer’s hands. SECURE+ integrators can deliver systems that give homeowners the ability to control the everyday functions of their homes such as lighting and temperature, with the added benefit that they are experts in helping ensure the safety and security of the home."
