New demo unit designed to make selling and training even easier

Springfield, Missouri—August 10, 2007— Digital Monitoring Products, introduces a new feature update to the 780 Keypad Demonstrator module, making it an invaluable tool for both selling to customers and training them in proper operation of the keypad and alarm system. It is now easier than ever to show customers the new Shortcut Keys as well as the breakthrough Cancel/Verify false alarm prevention feature. All 780 Keypad Demonstrator Modules now include this updated Version 101 Firmware.

“Demonstration really brings home to customers, the value and ease of use that our keypads offer,” said Jeff McAleer, DMP Vice President of Sales. “You can talk about these features all you want. But when you can actually show customers and let them experience the operation and advantages for themselves, the keypad practically sells itself.”

The portable 780 Demo module connects to any DMP 32-character LCD keypad. It allows customers to quickly grasp the various security features and experience how the Shortcut Keys make common arming functions easier and faster. Demonstration also brings to life the value of the new DMP Cancel/Verify feature for false alarm reductions. It simulates real-life situations and shows the simplicity of canceling, verifying and alarming right at the keypad.

The Demo module also provides access to a variety of User Menu options including Alarm Silence, Sensor Reset, Armed Areas, Zone Monitor and User Codes. The 780 Demo Module operates on a standard 9 VDC alkaline battery or can be connected to an AC source (required when using the Clear Touch Keypad).
