DMP offers new wireless receivers for alarm systems
Springfield, Missouri — January 31, 2008 — Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has released four new models of its proven 1100 Series wireless receivers. The new In-line receivers make it possible for installers to add wireless capability to any DMP installation easily, discreetly, and for less. The new High Power receivers offer a solution for harsh RF environments. The receivers are part of the broad line of two-way supervised wireless components available from DMP.
The new receivers are based on the proven technology in the very popular 1100D and 1100X models. The new In-line receivers, model 1100DI and 1100XI provide the same basic features and functions, but in a more compact unit that's the right choice for both residential and small commercial installations.
The new High Power receivers, model 1100DH and 1100XH, offer greater transmission power and higher sensitivity, thus increasing the coverage. The more powerful receivers eliminate the need to purchase multiple high-power transmitters.
"Wireless devices offer many advantages over wired devices," explained DMP Vice President of Sales, Jeff McAleer. "The smaller size of the In-line receivers 1100DI and 1100XI makes them perfect for discrete installations, while the High Power receivers 1100DX and XH will provide reliable performance in industrial locations. For new installations, system retrofits, or upgrades, DMP1100 wireless receivers are another example of how we support our customers with innovative solutions that work."
Every 1100 Series receiver provides two-way, supervised communication using 900 MHz frequency-hopping spread-spectrum technology. This smart technology ensures that every communication is received and efficiently processed at the panel with a single transmission.
The 1100D/1100DI/1100DH receivers are compatible with the keypad bus of the XRSuper6, XR20, and XR40 Series Command Processor panels, and support up to 32 wireless transmitters. The 1100X/1100XI/1100XH receivers are compatible with the wireless bus of the XR100 and XR500 Series Command Processor panels, and support up to 500 transmitters.
