ADT, a leader in home security, today unveiled the company’s first ever holiday campaign, urging consumers to protect what matters most throughout the upcoming season with the unique features of the ADT Pulse home monitoring system. The campaign captures the excitement of the holidays and the practicality of the brand with new creative by NYC-based Doner.
The multiple ad spots, which began airing nationally today, tap into the many joys of the holiday season to demonstrate how ADT’s innovative offerings help to simplify and enhance consumers’ everyday lives. From a dad remotely turning on Christmas tree lights while he is at the airport, to a woman catching her husband snooping for presents at home, and kids watching Santa climb down the chimney on Christmas Eve on their iPad, the ADT Pulse system helps consumers to fully monitor all aspects of their home digitally and with ease. Specifically, ADT Pulse allows users to arm and disarm their security system, lock and unlock their doors, control thermostats, turn on and off small appliance and lights, and access real-time video from any web-connected device, IPhone, or IPad.

The ADT campaign for the holiday season will run on a variety of TV networks and digital mediums:
• Online: Interactive ads will enable users to interact with the ADT Pulse app, switching between cameras and rooms in Santa’s home to find five hidden golden rings.
• Print: ADT print ads will feature ADT Pulse as “the season’s coolest smart device” and position it as the holiday gift that keeps on giving, depicting Pulse in action on tablets, smartphones and laptops.
ADT was the first to bring interactive security to the mass market two years ago with the ADT Pulse solution. ADT recently spun-off from Tyco International and became a public company trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “ADT.”
