Exhibit Hall final day has been informally for on-floor chats, meet-ups between vendors and product managers that still have not completed their “Competitive Product Comparison Matrix.” That tool has given way to partner ecosystem summaries and the coverage below reflects that.

Shooter Detection Systems

SIW catches up with Joe Byron of  @Shooter Detection Systems  with indoor (soon outdoor) gunshot detection IEEE PoE based sensors with two factor authentication. What I found amazing was the depth of their Guardian Integrations Matrix, relating the Automated actions of IP Video, PACS, Mass Notification, Life Safety Alarms, VOIP/PA, GPS/GIS/LBS, A/V Systems to over 17 partners including  @Genetec   @Everbridge   @Siemens   @Avigilon   @informacast  FususOne

@MutualinkChannel  The full interview explains how their latest PoE and #loRaWan sensors were able to provide the Georgia World Congress Center with full coverage, even in its complexity and subfloors. Their continuous tour through the Emergency Operations Center were well attended and fast paced.

Conclusion for 2022

If GSX2021 was themed with strong, yet siloed technology, with some key integrations through acquisition, and of course pandemic recovery, GSX2022 biggest technology trends were collaborations and partnerships, and fearless trends incorporating bold moves managing AI between Cloud and on-prem.

Gunshot detection approached maturity for two solution providers, and emergency managers finally admitted that they must plan as though the cavalry is not coming right away, and respond to early, reliable detection in real-time.

3D CT Scan entry screening is now mainstream, but not deployed at most passenger screening locations except, ironically, at Atlanta-Hartsfield International Airport. New CEOs from Dragonfruit Ai and Camio, with long and strong startup, acquisition and tech giant backgrounds, are challenging the mainstream security technology providers to simply do it better.

It was timely that on the final day of GSX2022, as if to launch our industry to a better future, one of the world’s top performing Edge AI processors, Hailo.ai and #ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) provider Tattile SRL announced their first IP Camera collaboration.

The ultra-high Tera Operations per Second (TOPS) capability of this and other chipsets have been reported by SIW, Security Technology Executive and Security Business, along with their amazing significance to the security industry, delivering low-cost AI upgrade alternatives.  The Edge AI and Security industry futures are bright and converging.
