Kissimmee, Florida USA— Micro Key Solutions, a leading provider of world-class software solutions for the security alarm industry, hosted its 19th annual Users Conference at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida, February 7-10, 2012. The Rosen Plaza Ballroom was filled to capacity for this year's Opening Session, as a record number of attendees listened intently to Joe Ligouri, Micro Key's operations manager, and Victoria Ferro, president, set the scene for the upcoming informative and event-filled three and half day conference titled "Making Today's Vision Tomorrow's Reality."
Joe began by announcing some new software changes and additions to staff, emphasizing Micro Key's continued efforts to bring its users amazing service and the best customer support in the industry. He then introduced Victoria who started by stating that, "This is my 10th Users Conference and first as president. After all these years, I'm still motivated by the excitement and information sharing that takes place at these events." Victoria continued by talking about some of the new features and functions of the Millennium Series™ Software that would be covered in the forthcoming sessions. She went on to explain that, "The Millennium Software and support is an investment giving you, our users, the highest possible return on investment by enabling you to manage your back office operations, control your business and succeed in maximizing profits. Our current tagline, which is also the operational philosophy we live by, is "Manage-Control-Succeed." This signifies that all the features, functions, and tools that we develop are designed to enable you to manage your business, control your operations without having to micro-manage, and succeed in obtaining more accounts using less staff through effective automation." Victoria concluded by emphasizing that, "Our customers are not a number; we care about your business and continue to be your partner for success. The Opening Session came to a close with the introduction of Micro Key staff members, who took over the stage pleasantly surprising and energizing everyone with an entertaining dance routine to demonstrate just how hard they "shuffle and hustle" every day, working to deliver the industries best solutions.
And that was only the beginning, as well over 100 Millennium Series™ users from all over the world, representing more than 50 companies, and Micro Key business partners spent the remaining time attending sessions geared towards the how-to of using not only the new features of their software solutions, but existing features and new opportunities to help them improve their bottom line. Micro Key's business partners also gave presentations demonstrating how their products and services seamlessly interface with the Millennium software.
Another indication of the success of the conference was having all the sessions filled to near capacity, in spite of the unseasonably wonderful weather Central Florida was experiencing. Sessions covering back office operations, new customer support programs, disaster recovery preparedness, tips and tricks and many other topics were all geared toward showing users how to get the maximum benefit from their Micro Key software investment. Users were also given the opportunity in the computer lab to see for themselves how best to utilize and match Millennium's new features and functionality to their business needs.
Victoria summed it up perfectly when she said, "This year's conference really proved to everyone in attendance how much Micro Key rocks in the security alarm industry."
