Gai-Tronics’ RED ALERT® Emergency Telephones are designed to provide clear and reliable communications in almost any environment. The Model 397-00x is considered to be Type 3R weatherproof compliant when installed in the supplier's surface-mount enclosure, free-standing stanchion, wall-mount stanchion or simply recessed into an existing wall.
The units are telephone line powered and require no battery or external power for operation. A large “palm” activation HELP pushbutton is included for emergency calls. They are UL/CSA 60950 compliant, FCC Part 68 certified, and ADA compliant.
