The FS-2000 flame sensor from Takex is a UL-rated UV Flame detector for schools, server rooms or other critical environments where early detection of flame presence is essential to an effective response. The device is easy to install, with separate tamper output, and has multiple user-defined settings. The FS-2000 has a broad, 33-foot area of coverage for commercial applications. The sensors are designed to detect ultraviolet rays in flames. They either activate a built-in alarm sounder or are connected to a remote panel annunciating device. The internal alarm sounder output is greater than 80dB at 3.3ft. (1m) in front of the sensor, and it can be turned off. The unit is also equipped with Tamper output.
