PPM 2000 joins General Dynamics’ Global Security Operations Center
Edmonton, AB—November 15, 2012—PPM 2000, the leading provider of end-to-end Incident Management software for the corporate security industry, announced today that its flagship product, Perspective, will be included in General Dynamics Information Technology’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Solution and Integration Lab. The GSOC solution integrates multiple, third-party security technologies to provide a cost effective and scalable security solution that allows customers to monitor and protect people, property and assets using fewer resources. The GSOC provides a common operating picture, enabling coordinated response to events and sharing of business and risk intelligence. In addition, two GSOC Integration Labs bring all the GSOC elements together to provide a staging ground for customers’ use in strategic security planning and infrastructure design.
PPM will be providing Perspective Incident Management software for the GSOC Solution and Integration Labs. With Perspective, GSOC users can track events, dispatch officers, report incidents and launch investigations. They can then analyze their Perspective data for trending, risk mitigation and performance metrics. Already an integral piece of Microsoft’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Perspective is a proven robust component in large-scale security operations, and its implementation in General Dynamics’ GSOC solution enables timely, efficient processes and procedures across all aspects of incident management.
“When designing a mission-critical system to operate in a command center setting, you need to be sure all of the systems work together, and the partners in the General Dynamics’ GSOC solution do exactly that,” said Brian McIlravey, CPP, PPM’s Co-CEO. “Perspective's integration within the GSOC offers a consistent incident handling and reporting platform that optimizes workflow and readily integrates with the other GSOC elements. With Perspective, the very best procedures are in place to respond to, analyze and prevent incidents."
