IDV Solutions achieves gold, silver Microsoft competencies
Lansing, MI – May 15, 2013 -- IDV Solutions today announced that it has attained three Microsoft competencies, distinguishing itself within the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. By earning Gold Business Intelligence competency, Gold Independent Software Vendor competency, and Silver Web Development competency, the company demonstrates its ability and commitment to meet customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment.
To earn a Microsoft competency, partner companies must have staff who successfully complete exams to prove their level of technology expertise, resulting in Microsoft Certified Professionals. For gold competencies, the company must designate each of these certified professionals uniquely to one Microsoft competency, ensuring a certain level of staffing capacity. Partners must also pass technology and/or sales assessments, and submit customer references that demonstrate successful projects. For gold competencies, partners must also implement a yearly customer satisfaction study and, for many competencies, meet a revenue commitment.
IDV Solutions’ Visual Fusion is data visualization software technology for building focused business intelligence apps that unite data from virtually any data source in a visual, interactive context for better insight and understanding. Visual Command Center, developed with Visual Fusion, is physical security and risk visualization (PSRV) software that delivers real-time visual intelligence. Visual Command Center unites activity and events from disparate data sources—including web feeds, social media, travel tracking, incident management, and physical security systems—into one comprehensive security picture.
“We’re extremely proud of Visual Fusion and Visual Command Center. Our technology is an integral part of operations for both private and public-sector customers. These Microsoft competencies showcase our expertise and commitment in today’s technology market,” said Ian Clemens, Chief Technology Officer. “Our plan is to accelerate our customers’ success by serving as technology advisors for their business demands.”
“By achieving a portfolio of competencies, partners demonstrate deep expertise and consistent capability on the latest Microsoft technology,” said Jon Roskill, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “These partners show true commitment to meeting customer technology needs today and into the future.”
