Central station business to be rebranded as Immix, command center business to retain SureView name

SureView Systems, a provider commercial central station and command center response software, announced on Thursday that the company will be split into two separate businesses: a central station business that will rebranded as Immix, the name of the company’s software platform, and a command center business that will retain the SureView name for both the company and the product.

“We have spent much of the last decade developing, refining, and building teams to address our two product lines and the markets they serve; the commercial central station market with Immix CS, and the private command center market with Immix CC,” Simon Morgan, CTO of SureView Systems, said in a statement. “The natural evolution of this process has been to develop unique businesses that operate independently of one another.”

The company said that the teams that support these product lines today will remain and in fact; both businesses are adding more developers, engineers, and managers to support a growing list of new customers.

“We are excited about this change, as it gives us the opportunity for each business to follow their own path, focusing on the unique needs of their market and customers. This is not just about name changes: each business is backing it with some exciting and innovative developments to ensure the products continue to be agile and relevant,” added Morgan.

Each business will be announcing further updates about their plans in the coming week.

“We have experienced a tremendous level of growth over the past few years and the needs of our customer base differ from those of SureView’s Command Center base. As such, we felt it was necessary to make this separation in order to streamline both the product and our support team to help our customers meet the challenges they face and grow and succeed using the Immix platform,” Chris Brown, Vice President of Immix, said of the decision to separate the company.

Immix integrates alarms, cameras, video streams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and mapping into a single-pane-of-glass for users, enabling an immediate and comprehensive view of every security event presented in the platform. The software also tracks everything an operator sees, says and does in the background for investigations, auditing, compliance, and debriefing.
