Hildebran, NC, June 11, 2021 – ELK Products Inc. is excited to introduce the Alarm Engine® at ISC West in Las Vegas. ELK’s Alarm Engine is a new IP and cloud-centric platform for security, automation, safety, and access. This innovative platform is designed for easy installation and convenient operation. The Alarm Engine features lean architecture with a real-time operating system, making it fast, agile, and efficient.
ElkConnect® brings the power of the platform to life. This advanced app and cloud portal streamlines system configuration, management, and control with powerful tools and a consistent user experience. A proven, robust automation environment fuels the Alarm Engine with simplified customization and unrestricted creation of rules. The Alarm Engine ecosystem includes a comprehensive video offering with professional grade cameras, intelligent analytics, and interactive controls.
ELK’s first model based on the Alarm Engine is E27®, a hybrid alarm control system with robust hardwire and wireless capabilities. The on-board Ethernet port or optional Wi-Fi adapter simplify IP connectivity. E27 supports a wide range of wireless sensors (both two-way and one-way) and easily integrates with a variety of Z-Wave devices. It offers a proper upgrade path to bring modern features to existing security systems. E27 provides a better solution at half the cost of popular “all-in-one” systems that rely on translators to utilize existing wired sensors. It is also an incredible solution for new installations, ensuring the integrity of the system by keeping the system core in a secure location.
“The exit in recent years of multiple hardwired alarm panels has left a large hole in the market. Installers are unsatisfied with their options today. ELK Products’ Alarm Engine not only fills that hole but transports the category forward by decades.”, said Sean Curley, President of ELK Products Inc. “With very attractive installer pricing, E27 makes for a powerful but simple and really cost-effective upgrade to millions of hardwired panels in the market, providing installers with an easy way to maintain customer loyalty.”
ELK Products’ Alarm Engine will be available on a limited basis to select installers in Q3 of this year. Contact ELK Products for product demonstrations and details on installer programs. Learn more at www.elkproducts.com/alarm-engine
