Industry pros to discuss high security for cannabis industry
Deltona, FL, February 22, 2021 – Jake Voll, president of SS&Si Dealer Network, and Tyler Kockler with Alarm.com have teamed up to present a panel discussion on leveraging 'Alarm.com for Business' to provide a bundled security, video, and access control solution for the cannabis industry.
The next significant trend in physical security centers on the protection of cannabis dispensaries throughout the United States. According to a market report, published by Reportlinker, the cannabis market is expected to reach USD $104.9 Billion by 2027, expanding at a CAGR of 15.5 percent over the same time period. Given the monetary value of cannabis products, Security Dealers and Integrators across the nation should find this segment of the security market profitable.
Voll and Kockler have invited two top security integrators who have been extremely successful providing security solutions to the cannabis industry to share their experience and expertise in this lucrative segment of the security market.
"The cannabis industry in New England is rightly regulated, and American Alarm and Communications Inc. has earned an excellent reputation as the experts in security for cannabis grows and dispensaries," says Andy Klein, integrated systems consultant with American Alarm.
Halfway across the country, Alcom Security has successfully tapped into Oklahoma's cannabis industry network to secure numerous facilities throughout the state.
"We're excited to share our expertise with other firms in our industry. While we intend to remain the foremost experts on security for cannabis facilities in Oklahoma, we recognize that the opportunity to support the industry extends well beyond our service area," says Taylor McKinney, operations manager with Alcom.
Both Alcom Security and American Alarm and Communications Inc. leverage the 'Alarm.com for Business' platform in order to win commercial accounts outside of the cannabis industry. Business owners and managers enjoy the convenience of a single platform on which to manage their security, access, and video.
"Tyler and I are happy to collaborate in order to educate dealers on the opportunities found in the cannabis industry," says SS&Si's Jake Voll. "We appreciate the tremendous support from the Alarm.com team and we're excited to see continued and mutual growth as we focus on commercial security solutions for our shared dealer partners."
